For anyone who has any issues like @A43 did, there is an app called "rebuild-detector" available in the Extra repo, it includes a pacman hook, anytime you run pacman/yay/paru/etc, it would say something like "python-fortune-python needs to be rebuilt".

(offtopic, imo rebuild-detector should be merged into the default functionality of pacman, or the app made a part of the Base repository.)

Running this package appears to be broken due to an issue related to python-fortune-python, at least on my system.

@psypherium: Oh, sorry. It seems xdg-desktop-portal-gtk is not a dependency (optional or not) of some of the portal packages, so I've added it.

Actually this wasn't my issue, I run the GNOME desktop environment, so I already had xdg-desktop-portal-gtk installed. I don't understand what you mean about it being part of the optional dependencies, but it is okay, I believe you. I hope that your days will be good :)

@psypherium: No, it isn't. You already have xdg-desktop-portal installed, check the optional dependencies. Your upstream issue has nothing to do with this AUR package.
