Missing dependency: libxss P.S. This pacakage is extracted from deb package so would be better renamed as rocketchat-client-bin.

It appears the rocketchat binary is at /opt/Rocket.Chat+/rocketchat. The .desktop file under /usr/share/applications has the correct location but the symlink created in the PKGBUILD at install time points /usr/bin/rocketchat-desktop at /opt/Rocket.Chat+/rocketchat-desktop, which doesn't exist.

@tangresh Fixed, thanks.

tangresh commented on 2017-04-27 07:21 (UTC)

With 2.7.0 the main binary changed name to rocketchat-desktop and now the symlink points to nothing.

@chowbok Thanks for the advice. Symlink moved to /usr/bin.

chowbok commented on 2017-01-25 00:19 (UTC)

AUR packages shouldn't put stuff in /usr/local/bin. That's where non-package managed stuff goes. The symlink ought to be in /usr/bin.

@masteroman Symlink added in /usr/local/bin.

masteroman commented on 2017-01-16 22:30 (UTC)

Main binary is placed in /opt/Rocket.Chat+/rocketchat which is not within default $PATH making it not available to start via command line by default. Is there any way to include symlink in package to let's say /usr/local/bin/rocketchat?

I can take over packet management for this if @michaudg doesn't have the time anymore.
