Unfortunately the maintainer does not accept PR, if you are looking for a working PKGBUILD please see:

Note that the the above is a fork of the original repo, and not all the packages have been checked for correct build. I will maintain and accept PR, and eventually publish onto AUR if the situation does not improve with the maintainer.
