Disowning because I no longer use it

Has an install file that executes hooks. Please remove install file and dependency on desktop-file-utils.

mesmer commented on 2016-07-07 03:34 (UTC)

for work you need to update the version to 5.3.16.3, update the librfm , and remove th clean() function in PKGBUILD pkgname=rodent pkgver=5.3.16.3 pkgrel=1 pkgdesc="Lightweight, yet full of options filemanager, compatible with console commands" arch=('i686' 'x86_64') url="http://xffm.org/" license=('GPL3') makedepends=('pkg-config' 'intltool' 'librsvg') depends=('librfm5' 'desktop-file-utils') optdepends=('python2: for rfm-simple-agent') install=$pkgname.install source=(http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/xffm/$pkgver/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.bz2) md5sums=('99290de6a4849eb426a11ea1b121ebde')

Hi, loading and scrolling through folders is very slow. Rodent becomes unusable, if folders have lots of items. I needed to replace rodent with spacefm and roxterm. On Ubuntu I still use rodent 5.0.5 and it works without issues. It already was slow, when I build it a few month ago. $ pacman -Q rodent librfm5 desktop-file-utils python2 rodent 5.3.16.0-1 librfm5 5.3.16.0-1 desktop-file-utils 0.22-1 python2 2.7.10-2 $ pacman -Qi rodent | grep Build Build Date : Thu 28 May 2015 02:10:13 PM CEST Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Regards, Ralf

I have the same issiue like discribed here: http://sourceforge.net/p/xffm/bugs/66/?page=0 I don't know if it's now a GTK3 issue or an incompatibility with some libs.

@bidulock I took the liberty of updating with your PKGBUILD and install script, then disown the package again. I hope this is ok - I don't mean to take any credit for your work. :-)

@bidulock If you'd like to update with your PKGBUILD I've disowned the package
