when running roon-proton setup, I get the following error:

roon-wine: Roon Bridge archive checksum verification failed; the upstream artifact may have changed

Thanks for testing and reporting this! The fresh-install failure shown in your log should be fixed in roon-proton 0.2.0-5.

The current Roon installer was exiting under Proton before leaving a detectable installation. The package now extracts and verifies the bundled Roon payload directly and includes a compatibility fix for UMU 1.4.0.

Please update and try:

yay -S roon-proton
pacman -Q roon-proton
roon-proton setup desktop

pacman -Q should report roon-proton 0.2.0-5. The new setup desktop command combines installation and launch while preserving the existing prefix.

For the optional PipeWire system-following audio endpoint, use:

sudo modprobe snd-aloop pcm_substreams=1
roon-proton setup

This project is currently beta. It has been live-tested on CachyOS with Niri/Wayland and fresh-install tested in a clean Arch environment, but it has not yet been tested across every desktop, compositor, GPU, and audio configuration.

Please let me know whether 0.2.0-5 fixes it. If not, post the output of roon-proton doctor along with your desktop environment and whether you are using X11 or Wayland.
