Actually I only have python 3.9 on my system and it's looking for 3.8 so that might be the issue

But the packages this package relies on are still linked against python 3.9. Please learn how linking works. You need a clean build environement like a chroot or a container.

@hacksd: Your build environment isn't clean. The package builds fine our Ci: https://abs-cd.oscloud.info/cd_manager/ros-melodic-chomp-motion-planner

Facing this error:
