realh is the maintainer and developer and maintainer of roxterm even on sourceforge, i think the github one is the real version, and not a fork

Start a different package for the fork.

SolarAquarion commented on 2018-02-26 13:35 (UTC) there has been a fork that uses cmake to build

This requires itstool to build

Since the massive changes that will come with 3.0 you should propably check the history For example he wanted to switch to python3

I updated the package to the new build system, I added python2 as build dependency, and left everything else as it was. Let me know if something breaks or needs to be updated...

I created this package but never used it myself, so it's better for someone else to take care of it. => orphan

craig commented on 2011-12-14 14:26 (UTC)

Won't build for me: configure: error: autoconf is deprecated for roxterm. Please use maitch instead. See INSTALL.ReadFirst. If you have to use autoconf this configure script can be enabled by using the --enable-autoconf option. ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

In case anyone bothers, you can also wget the missing files from as a workaround. I modified the PKGBUILD such that: rm -rf "$srcdir/$_gitname-build" -git clone "$srcdir/$_gitname" "$srcdir/$_gitname-build" +cp -r "$srcdir/$_gitname" "$srcdir/$_gitname-build" cd "$srcdir/$_gitname-build" Then cd'd into ./src/roxterm/Help/lib, and downloaded the missing files: wget wget wget It build fine then. @Atsutane: I think roxterm now depends on vte3 instead. Also, both vte and vte3 already pull in dbus (but not dbus-glib) as a dependency.
