For anyone who wants to update now, just update the package version (to 0.98.1102) and the relevant md5 checksum (x86 or 64), from the last column here: http://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/

I definitely agree that Pandoc should be bundled with Rstudio as it is now. There's a reason why upstream chose to do that, namely that compiling Pandoc is a pain in the backside. (I just spent an hour installing Pandoc, and now found out it is included with the latest Rstudio...)

@neverfox : Yes, it includes Pandoc now, two quite large binary files used for different document formats conversion. Pandoc is only available in AUR for now (and it depends a huge amount of packages in order to be compiled), so I don't think I should remove them and add an extra dependence on AUR package.
