@duprezjm try makepkg --skipinteg as a quick fix, see my comment below yours for more information

Ran into the same validity check issue today. Nuked the whole folder, cloned from scratch and attempted to make the package makepkg --cleanbuild but it failed the same. Running makepkg --skipinteg did it no problem, as expected.

==> Validating source_x86_64 files with sha256sums...
    rstudio-2022.02.0-438-amd64.deb ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

Hey, it works now. Thank you very much!

Hi all: I think I got the package all fixed up. Just remember to do a cleanBuild, otherwise you won't get the fixed PKGBUILD file

Hey Alarg, I'll take a look into this. I just moved so the internet to the Pi running the update code has been offline the past few days. I just realized I don't even know how to find the current IP address where I'm at right now. it's all connected through a mesh network and I can't log into the portal @_@

Hello! I'm encountering the same error as I did a year ago:

==> Validating source_x86_64 files with sha256sums... rstudio-2021.12.0-daily%2B130-amd64.deb ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! -> error making: rstudio-desktop-daily-bin

Alright, y'all. had to go make a wsl2 arch image. but I think it's all working now :) I'll give it about 24-48 hours to see if my cron job picks it up.

Thanks, @duerrwlu for the tip. I'm also mainly pulling the version from a script, so I need to string replace the "-" into a "."

I've done an intermediate fix for now. But my usual arch machine is a bit messed up at the moment. so hopefully this fix works while I go find a way to get a working arch machine again.
