@DeMeNteD I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean. The only sensible change I see on your repo is that you add all firmwares to the destination package. However we should add rtl8812ae firmwares only, the others are already present in the linux-firmware package. The other change related to blacklisting wasn't needed in my case, but it being required makes sense (about dependencies). Preventing load of the mainline driver isn't something I'm really eager to do though.

@piernov I have a "rtl8821ae" and looking at the "PKGBUILD" it seemed like you are only loading the "rtl8812aefw" driver so I made some changes and pushed them to a github repo "https://github.com/WBad/rtlwifi_new-dkms" the changes seem to work see lspci output below.

PS> I'm a noob with these things so if I'm totally wrong please let me know.

Hello, this package should be called rtlwifi_new-dkms-git, would be nice if you make a new one and later ask for merge

My WiFi doesn't stop, but slows down to ~20kBps (normal speed is ~20mbps) when I turn bluetooth on. What input would you need to help on this one? Tell me how to get the needed things, I'll post them here.

@nmset can you put the textfiles copied and pasted here for me?
I have no luck making this card working with bluetooth and I did all you said.. the only manner to see where i am wrong is to see the configs files you made for bluetooth working and the pkgebuild you do for this.
Think that I am idiot and I don't know nothing, how you can tell me how to make it work(I know the uses of modules, terminal, etc, I am very used to work with linux and it terminal but I don't get the bluetooth working, that is very weird since you can make it works, and very annoying for me)

I think the problem is I am using olde rkernel, may it be?

@agm28011997

#uname -a
Linux localhost 4.10.0-rc6-git-00167-ga0a2864-dirty #9 SMP PREEMPT Sat Feb 4 13:10:12 CET 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux

It works on regular stock kernel since I have this laptop a year ago. You must be missing something.

nothing @nmset are you using linux lts or the lastest kernel? I don't know why it appear to be loaded the older kernels and I did evertything you said...

@agm28011997
I modified blacklist-rtlwifi_new-dkms.conf this way :

install <module> /bin/false
instead of
blacklist <module>

for all modules, except rtl8723-common.

I also use:
options rtl8723be_dkms swlps=0 fwlps=0 ips=0 msi=1

Lastly, I force loading of rtl8723be_dkms :
# cat /etc/modules-load.d/rtlwifi_new.conf
rtl8723be_dkms
