@dinduks If you have rvm installed, that could be messing with the install. That's what happened to me, and I got the same error message as you. To fix it, you can edit the PKGBUILD to specify /usr/bin/ruby and /usr/bin/gem where the commands ruby and gem are used so you're using the system ruby to get the right directories.

I have this error while trying to install the package: "No such file or directory @ dir_s_mkdir - /tmp/yaourt-tmp-sdindane/aur-ruby-maruku/pkg/ruby-maruku/usr/bin".
The `usr` directory does indeed not exist.

How to fix that?

@supermario, sorry for the late response, it seems when I posted that comment there was something wrong with the server hosting the gem. It all seems normal now.

@Xylemon what exactly is not working for you with the rubygems releases?

There is something wrong with downloading this off Could this just build the gem from the github releases?

I get "ERROR: Use --install-dir or --user-install but not both" when trying to build it. Anyone else?
