The ruby-sass 3.3.1 release fixes the distribution issues from 3.3.0. Enjoy.

jleclanche commented on 2014-03-08 15:58

Do not update to ruby-sass 3.3.0 yet. It depends on AUR packages which are not currently building properly (and it pulls in way too many dependencies). I am trying to figure out the situation.

Will delete this comment once it is resolved.

@Adys

Sorry. My fault. I was using rvm and was using a different ruby and gems. After doing rvm use system, the installation was fine.

@siliconmeadow

I don't know whats happening there, Im not having this issue at all. Let me know if you figure it out - you can try the archlinux irc channel.

Hi,

I'm having this issue when I try to upgrade on my machine:

The installed version is working fine for me, so I'm not in dire need to upgrade. Nonetheless, I thought I should point this out ;-)

Cheers,

Richard

Ah ok, my apologies. Thanks!

jleclanche commented on 2013-03-27 11:57

That's an issue with your /etc/gemrc.

Updated to 3.2.7

3.2.6 is out now, could you update?

k0001 commented on 2012-07-29 23:01

Thanks for letting me know. I upgraded the package.

jleclanche commented on 2012-07-29 18:01

3.1.20 is out, could you update the pkgfile please?

thebodzio commented on 2012-03-23 03:08

One last time observation: “install”, by default sets copied files' mode to 755. Since it's “LICENSE” being installed, could you please add “-m644” to “install”?

thebodzio commented on 2012-03-22 20:58

Thank you k0001! :) Much obliged!

I didn't know about --no-user-install, so your change is all for the better :).

k0001 commented on 2012-03-20 01:57

Thanks for the patch, I just upgraded it.

It seems that currently, as suggested by https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28681, the propper way to install a gem from a PKGBUILD is to add `--no-user-install` flag, so I made that change instead of the one you provided.

thebodzio commented on 2012-03-20 00:40

There's a new version available: 3.1.15. Below is a patch to the current PKGBUILD. I'd be happy if you'd kindly review it and, if it's OK with you, applied. I've added license location “detection” since it's no longer installed by “gem install” and added optional dependency on rb-inotify as suggested in other comment. Hope this helps! :)

You could put "rb-inotify" in the optdepends. It allows "sass --watch" to use inotify for more efficient file monitoring. Same probably goes for haml too.
