Yes, this package was what made me think of this in first place.
Please comment there if you have some other valid case.
As a workaround now, you could upload
ruby-base64-nonstdor whatever, and then add to depends here, which would work. You can add me to comaintainer here and I will take care of this, I tested and it worked for my usecase.imlonghao commented on 2024-08-15 13:30 (UTC)

This package requires
base64 ~> 0.2. Currently ruby provides only 0.1.1. Please address this issue.
