The GUI label is intentionally 2.2.4, this is related to it being a Linux-only launcher update, sorry if this causes any confusion

Note: It is important to keep PGP signature verification enabled, because this PKGBUILD does not verify sha256sums due to Jagex frequently releasing rebuilds with the same version number.

Don't forget to import the Jagex PGP key if installing for the first time:

@BasedSkarm @grawity 1) Indeed it was updated, without version bump. I'll update the package asap. 2) How were you launching before the "fix"? As grawity said: it's already implemented in this package. 3) Keyboard issues are known, look here for example: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?415,416,259,65780524 Known workaround that "resets" keyboard, is pressing tab or arrow keys. I'll look into suggested XMODIFIERS later from home.

1) Are you sure your download wasn't corrupted? 2) ...huh? /usr/bin/runescape-launcher already does that. (In fact that's the only thing it does.) 3) Try unsetting XMODIFIERS; it seems either SDL2 or NXT sometimes deal poorly with input methods.

I've had several issues with this so far: 1) The version of the launcher .DEB must have been updated because the sha sum for it was different; I could not install this successfully without modifying PKGBUILD with the new sha checksum 2)curl version compatibility did not work out of the box, I had to append export LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libcurl.so.3" to /usr/bin/runescape-launcher 3)(though i suspect this is actually a game bug) In game text input only works very occasionally, the keyboard does not work for the most part.

@GamingFTW The only segfault that I was experiencing is when closing the client. And it no longer happens in the latest version. I can't help with game bugs, I'm only repackaging their launcher. You should post your problem in the RS forums: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?415,416

Hi guys, Not sure if its supposed to be but the download link appears to be dead: .../runescape-launcher_2.1.5_amd64.deb Has support been dropped till the client is officially out?
