Yamakaky, do you plan updating the package?

It's just changing:
pkgver=1.18.0
sha256sums=('d2dc36e99b9e2269488b2bcddde43c234e6bde03edf70cba82a027ff49c36111')

Stupid me: I watched the src/ dir (already chmod) and thought "oh cool, they fixed the problem!"

vessd commented on 2017-02-10 05:12

Can you explain why you have removed these lines?
-prepare() {
- cd "rustc-$pkgver"
- find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;
- find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
-}

This package is useless for me if folders have 700 mode and files have 600 mode..

Also the Rust 1.15.1 was announced

Hum, they should not change the packets content without changing the version.

di72nn commented on 2017-02-09 19:47

Well, maybe they updated the file and you build with a locally cached one.

Yamakaky commented on 2017-02-09 19:39

Hum, I don't have trouble building this package...

The checksum of the file is f655e4fac9c2abb93eb579e29c408e46052c0e74b7655cd222c63c6743457673.

What do you mean? It packages fine with me.

benneti commented on 2017-02-08 16:47

I think you should update the checksum

Assuming you're talking about how it works with rustup, then yes, you can have multiple versions of rust-src (or any other rustup "component") installed. The rust sysroot simply changes. For example, the sysroot of a nightly toolchain installed via rustup on x86_64 is "$HOME/.multirust/toolchains/nightly-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu".
