I installed this because rxvt-unicode page on Arch wiki basically endorsed it: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Rxvt-unicode#Scrollback_buffer_in_secondary_screen I didn't think about it much, and next time I started a terminal, things like Powerline glyphs were just squares and changing the font didn't do anything to fix it. This package probably isn't for you as the author already said. Wish I'd read that 3 days ago.

Options are different because the intent wasn't just to be the official package with a patch, but make this the package of urxvt I wanted/needed. As for --enable-unicode3, sorry but I don't really want to add it actually, because unless one effectively needs it, it's just wasting memory. However, the great thing about the AUR (or even Arch in general for that matter) is you can easily take the PKGBUILD and add the option yourself before building. :)

Wonderful package, urxvt is much more usable with this. However, I am wondering why the compilation options are so different from the original package, apart from the ones relative to scrolling. Could you at least add the --enable-unicode3 option to add correct utf-8 support ? Thank you very much !

Updated the PKGBUILD so it now depends on rxvt-unicode-terminfo, as it should; Thanks.

This package conflicts with rxvt-unicode-terminfo, it should be added to PKGBUILD.

Alright, so I removed the option from the PKGBUILD. If someone wants it, either tweak the PKGBUILD before running makepkg, or just update your .Xdefaults as sprash explained.

How do I deactivate the Shift-{Up,Down} scrolling? It collides with keysyms in emacs with cua-mode. If you really would want to scroll this way you could add URxvt.keysym.Shift-Up: command:\033]720;1\007 URxvt.keysym.Shift-Down: command:\033]721;1\007 to your .Xresources

I mostly use Shift+Page{Up,Down} myself, but I don't see why not add this, PKGBUILD updated.

I suggest the following addition: http://nopaste.info/2562162a3a.html The patch used there is: http://nopaste.info/58ed53b0d5.html
