I am having some issues with encodings: unicode characters are not showing properly, and characters with accents are not being input. I opened a thread on this here (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=288734). This error does not occur with other versions of urxvt such as rxvt-unicode or rxvt-unicode-truecolor-wide-glyphs.

The current version 9.30-1 can't be build because 5 of 8 files did not pass de the validity check (urxvt.desktop, urxvtc.desktop, urxvt-tabbed.desktop, font-width-fix.patch, and line-spacing-fix.patch)

Seems like the package version on the site http://dist.schmorp.de/rxvt-unicode is out of sync with the package version specified in PKGBUILD. The build doesn't succeed even when changing the package version in PKGBUILD manually because of incorrect sha sums.

I am not using urxvt anymore (mainly, switched to Kitty), so would probably avoid maintaining two packages for/of it.

9.22 doesn't open anymore. Latest version is 9.26. I tried editing the PKGBUILD to install 9.26, but one of the patches for 9.22 is failing. Anyone figure out how to update this?

It's a fix for a bug that exists in rxvt-unicode 9.22 that causes it to segfault and dump core on exit, as discussed here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/67691
I extracted the patch from rxvt-unicode's upstream repo, where it has been fixed, but there's no release version yet.
