Yeah, this really needs some additional dependencies listed at the very least.... I've got a personal PKGBUILD based off of the community version of Salt: https://github.com/codekoala/pkgbuilds/tree/master/salt-git

Also note for 0.9.5 that you may want to build with libyaml bindings, which are much faster. See: http://pyyaml.org/wiki/PyYAMLDocumentation
