Upstream only supports qt version 5.9 I've updated this to version 5.11. It has so far worked for me. Please don't report issues to the upstream if they could be related to the qt version.

Orphaned because of burden of maintenance for something I don't actually use.

I'm pretty sure I've already fixed this [1], are you sure you're using the latest PKGBUILD revision? [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=sam-ba&id=81138f17c84195b1672a4e63abe8f5b4a010b495

Minor nitpick but pacman complains because libsambacommon.so.3 isn't a sym link. I imagine renaming it libsambacommon.so.3.0.0 and sym link libsambacommon.so.3 to it pacman should stop complaining.

You're welcome. I haven't had a chance to test the package yet as I'm still waiting for my board, but feel free to report anything you come across.

I see, you're missing qdoc. Adding qt5-tools to build deps.

Can you post your complete build log? It builds fine for me, even though I still see that same error. These strip steps are prefixed with - in the generated makefiles in my case.
