Probably not a problem in general but it causes makepkg to fail in the package step leaving me without a package : (

This is just qmake misinterpreting the .bin extension. I believe these files are just prebuilt flash images for the bootloaders. `file` simply says "data". It doesn't cause any actual issues that I know of.

I think there might be a missing dependency. On the package step there's an error related to strip not recognizing the file format. strip:.../sam-ba/src/sam-ba-3.1.4/build/install/qml/SAMBA/Device/SAMA5D2/applets/applet-serialflash_sama5d2-generic_sram.bin: File format not recognized
