There are many problems with this package:

  • It should not be arch=any, as it compiles an ELF binary.
  • The build ignores LDFLAGS.
  • Needs needs depends='glibc'.
  • License declaration should be modernized (SPDX) as per new Arch package license guidelines.
  • The useless raw .tex source file should be removed from the bundled package, as the the build already produces a rendered PDF and HTML doc.
  • +1: The 'make clean' statement from build() should be removed: leave it for user to control whether they want to make a clean build or a rebuild, or whether they want to tinker with the build config and/or source files manually before running the build.
