Depends on python2-libgnome, no longer available...

@Muflone thanks a lot. Fix confirmed, it is working now :)

Muflone commented on 2015-01-14 10:59 (UTC)

@Tadly, fixed. It was broken from the /usr/sbin -> /usr/bin migration

tadly commented on 2015-01-14 10:11 (UTC)

For me it doesn't even install... while checking for file conflicts it terminates with: error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) sbackup: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Haven't been able to find a solution yet :/ Someone got an idea?

Muflone commented on 2012-10-18 08:54 (UTC)

I'm adopting this package and released the new package. Renamed the python-notify dependency in python2-notify The main script now uses /usr/bin/env python2 instead of /usr/bin/python2

chmurli commented on 2012-10-17 19:08 (UTC)

python-notify is now python2-notify in the main Arch repo

I get the following error trying to backup: ERROR: Unable to finish successfully. TAR terminated with errors. /bin/tar: unrecognized option `--checkpoint-action=exec=/usr/share/sbackup/sbackup-progress' Try `tar --help' or `tar --usage' for more information. (exit code: 64)

What a pity, that gnome-session is required.

City-busz commented on 2011-03-10 22:55 (UTC)

it works for me

pulp commented on 2011-03-10 22:41 (UTC)

fails to download source file

juanmah commented on 2011-03-02 09:41 (UTC)

Steps to get it working again: * copy /etc/sbackup.conf.pacsave to /etc/sbackup.conf (or begin from zero) * run sbackup-config-gtk Cron sbackup path is modified correctly pointing to /usr/share/sbackup/sbackup-launch Now is a info tool in tray informing about backup.

juanmah commented on 2011-03-02 09:22 (UTC)

Lot of changes. sbackup.conf moved to sbackup.conf.pacsave and /usr/share/sbackup/sbackup no longer exists, instead there are a lot of scripts.

City-busz commented on 2011-02-23 04:16 (UTC)

New version, please test it.

hi,it can not run into my x86_64: root@ArchBox iacopodeenosee > sbackupd ** GLib-GIO:ERROR:gdbusconnection.c:2270:initable_init: assertion failed: (connection->initialization_error == NULL) Abortito how can i fix this?

juanmah commented on 2010-10-22 13:13 (UTC)

To get it working again, and as it is said at: Just change all mentions of 'python' with 'python2'. Like the "shebang" line at the top of the script. If it says something like #!/usr/bin/python change it to use /usr/bin/python2.
