Well, this is embarrassing. I just found out that the package doesn't actually build with GTK3, but with GTK2. I just uploaded a fixed PKGBUILD that actually uses GTK3. On the other hand, I don't really recommend using it. In the GTK3 build, the editor flickers a lot (Scintilla bug #1567: <http://sf.net/p/scintilla/bugs/1567/>).
