Hum, just fixed an issue in the PKGBUILD that built the 64 version every time no matter what your CARCH is.

May I ask which architecture and DE/WM you use? Any other output? I see there is a "Show debug" option that you should be able to trigger in file $HOME/.config/Scrabble3D/Scrabble3D.ini: "cbDebug=1". Any luck with that?

It fixes that issue but now the ui freezes while the process maxes CPU usage. I guess that's an improvement. :-)

Updated to version "3.1.0 patch 23" but can't say whether this would fix your issue... :)
