Yeah, you're right. Anyway, I pushed the last update and I'll abandon it now. Not going to renew my license, as I've essentially switched to ghostty

AUR is essentially unsupported. You can just abandon this.

I saw the deletion request... I'm sorry, but I haven't decided to update my license at this time. I am willing to pass on the project, but the whole AUR thing recently has me really anxious to just abandon it and let someone random take it over.

Open to thoughts. Please comment here... I'll be deciding the future by end of week.

Thanks. Updated to 9.7.1 .

My license expired, and I'm unsure if I'll renew -- I'm using scrt less and less & using VScode (not terrible, for lab work) and iterm2 (sucks) more and more.

There is a new update again: SecureCRT 9.7.1 - February 17, 2026

Yeah, it's definitely possible where there is a conditional check if the SFX bundle is there or not.

If this package is strictly subset of scrt-sfx-opt-bin, merging package to it is an option.

Hey, folks, life has gotten a bit busy with a new job & various side projects on the go. This being flagged out of date simply slipped my mind; I haven't even truly used SCRT on my workstation in quite a while.

I'll see what I can do to clean up the repo & truly automate it. Otherwise, I'm open to pass off maintainer to someone else :)

@oech3 that's okay, friend. thanks for your submission & suggestions. I wasn't aware of that, so it's good stuff. I'll take a look at the PKGBUILD proposal shortly.
