paru does not build in a clean chroot. Also, the clean chroot process fails on package(), not build(). It's failing in package() because it attempts to rerun some of the build steps during the install step, which attempts to write to a now write-protected directory.

@rpi2: Those are example flags, not defaults. And apparently, they are not applicable to the current default scheduler, scx_bpfland.

You should be fine leaving the default of no flags at all.
