It tries to use Qt5 when both Qt4 and Qt5 are available and fails to build. Please add "-DQT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE=qmake-qt4" to force it using Qt4

That makes perfect sense, thank you very much.

Hi Martín, We know the issue. It is a shortcoming of kconfig we use to read/write the settings file. There is nothing much we can do. We can roll our own settings file reader/writer, but we are trying to escape from re-inventing the wheel as long as we can. For now, you can use the sample config file (/etc/sddm.conf.sample) for comments.

Hi Abdu, the KCM module works overall as expected with a minor detail: when it regenerates /etc/sddm.conf the comments on the file are gone. I usually like to have the configuration files commented so I can quickly remember what every key do. Would you think about preserving those comments when the config file is automatically regenerated? Thanks!
