Thank you for the report. Somehow I didn’t see that you had provided an updated PKGBUILD as well, so I needlessly reimplemented the fix, but thanks too anyway :D
It should work now.

The build currently fails, see Issue #204: SDLPoP cannot be built with gcc 10
Updated PKGBUILD with patch.

I apologize but I think I would prefer not to do that since
prince
is the name that upstream uses. If you would prefer another one, changing the second-to-lastinstall
command in thePKGBUILD
should be enough (and the package is updated sufficiently infrequently that you won’t have to do that extremely often).alerque commented on 2020-03-03 07:48 (UTC)
Please rename the executable! Since the package is called
sdlpop
that would be an appropriate name to use as the binary name.dreieck commented on 2018-08-21 14:33 (UTC) (edited on 2018-08-21 14:34 (UTC) by dreieck)
Conflicts with AUR package "princexml" (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/princexml/). Both packages provide a file "/usr/bin/prince".
Please add a conflict-entry in the PKGBUILD.
Or rename your executable.
