There's no changes to make here, it seems you'll need to rebuild rtaudio instead. You could make your own PKGBUILD (rtaudio-pulse or something) that disables alsa/jack support, and also has rtaudio as provides/conflicts.

Source files must be unique in SRCDEST per the wiki, please update accordingly (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#source):

The downloaded source filename must be unique because the SRCDEST directory can be the same for all packages. For instance, using the version number of the project as a filename potentially conflicts with other projects with the same version number. In this case, the alternative unique filename to be used is provided with the syntax source=('unique_package_name::file_uri'); e.g. source=("$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz::https://github.com/coder/program/archive/v$pkgver.tar.gz").

Can anyone incorporate changes with pipewire support? I believe it's stated here what's needed to be done: https://github.com/AlexandreRouma/SDRPlusPlus/issues/734#issuecomment-1105564425

Also, worth checking this issue https://github.com/AlexandreRouma/SDRPlusPlus/issues/173

Hey all, I received an email notification earlier today saying this package was orphaned, so I adopted it, since I use it and I happened to be logged to AUR at the time.

However, a while after I adopted it, I reread the email and realized it was not ryzerth who had orphaned it, but AUR administration. Since ryzerth is the upstream author of this software, I find it nonsensical for him not to be a maintainer for the package, unless he was not interested anymore. Thus I added him as co-maintainer.

The issue regarding pkgver() was solved by ryzerth at least since 2021-03-02, when he implemented a pkgver() using the number of revisions since beginning of the history, in compliance with AUR VCS package guidelines. Anyway, I added 2WheelDev who seemed to be closely following this package, in case they want to help in the future.

eclairevoyant, your suggestions seem good, can you please commit them? I also added you as a co-maintainer.

gcc and make should be removed from the makedepends as they are part of base-devel as per https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#makedepends:

The package base-devel is assumed to be already installed when building with makepkg. Dependencies of this package should not be included in makedepends array.

Also this needs git in the makedepends to build properly and license should be corrected to GPL3. arch is also wrong considering this is going have ELF binaries, it should be x86_64.

So I submitted an orphan request in an attempt to get this fixed. @Ryzerth does not want to do this or accept any help.

Quite frankly his attitude towards me, is disgusting. If you wish to see his reply: https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/aur-requests@lists.archlinux.org/message/ZM7JB2VQX3WPTBDI6KCU5WY3REJPF37M/

What a ridiculous answer by @ryzerth. AUR does not need another badly maintained pkg! This versioning issue is annoying.

@WheelDev: You could consider submitting a request for marking this as orphaned (to take over) or merging.

So back in October I contacted ryzerth regarding the pkgver issue and to offer assistance with maintaining the package, unfortunately no progress was made. I have waited before posting this, but as it has now been over a month without any attempt to make an update, I feel it was time to update everyone

I know about it. As I've mentioned on the github, the PC that I use for the AUR is currently out of service.

It will be edited when I get the time to fix it.

It's never been an issue since the master branch sees one or more commits a day most of the time anyway.

So there we go!

Second/thirding the request for the pkgver change, adding the package IgnorePkg is not a really a recommended workaround.
