We cannot do much about python-flask-babel being unmaintained. Let's wait until 16/02 if the current maintainer updates it.
I have asked a Trusted User if I can help maintain these python pip dependencies in [community], but in order to do that, I need to become a TU.

Modified the PKGBUILD file of python-flask-babel to match the most recent version 3.0.1, and self built it with makepkg, problem solved, thanks!

The package now is flagged as out-of-date, hope they can update the package as soon as possible.

Why don't you flag community/python-flask-babel out of date then? And/or rebuild it yourself?

Anyone here have the "Internal Server Error" after the latest update?

The Arch package 'community/python-flask-babel' is very outdated. You may to install searx into venv.

python-fasttext-predict-git has been released. All good.

python-langdetect dep has been removed.
python-fasttext dep has been replaced by python-fasttext-predict which I have submitted to the AUR.
For the python-fasttext-predict-git version, I think there is a tagging/versioning issue they need to fix but it is secondary.

regarding my previous comment, the searxng team merged a pull request 18 hours ago to replace fasttext with their own fork which has no dependencies: https://github.com/searxng/searxng/pull/2047

'fasttext-predict' was published to pip roughly 9 hours ago https://pypi.org/project/fasttext-predict/ so its now possible to update 'searxng-git' by manually installing it (python -m pip install fasttext-predict) and removing the 'python-fasttext-git' dependency from the pkgbuild.
