@nursoda: I'm not the owner of this package anymore!

@FredBezies: current 6.0.6 works fine. All that needs to be edited is these three lines (the path changed from /java/ to /java-linux/: pkgver=6.0.6 sha512sums=('e4d64b856f4bae035df471f58ce4373b8abd7b612b5899d154561ad8c401008b77e5fcaf92f25fe66076bdb827ce86ee88981cc8b73172e72b1b0039237f 3f89') chmod 755 "${pkgdir}"/opt/sejda-desktop/resources/vendor/java-linux/bin/java

@jamesan: applied your patch and fixed a little this PKGBUILD.

Thanks for the comment.

It seems permission issues are causing the program to malfunction. Upon saving the changes after modifying a PDF file, the program reports a bug that prevents the modified PDF from being saved.

I filed a bug report with the Sejda developers who advised that the post-install script that correctly sets file permissions doesn't appear to be executed after installation. Inspecting the debian source package, there is indeed a postinst script and this PKGBUILD doesn't include it or equivalent commands.

Please find suggested changes to the package() function of the PKGBUILD to fix this issue: https://pastebin.com/D7GFCHuf. Upon including these changes, the error as described no longer appears and modified PDF files are saved as expected.

See the find command in the PKGBUILD. I sets all to Directory permissions to 755.

Even after modifying PKGBUILD using the data from @butler360 below, there is still a warning that the directory permissions for the installed package are 775 rather than 755: --- warning: directory permissions differ on /opt/ filesystem: 755 package: 775 warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/ filesystem: 755 package: 775 warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/share/ filesystem: 755 package: 775 warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/share/applications/ filesystem: 755 package: 775 --- Adding an -m755 to the `install` command does not seem to clinch it. I wonder what I am doing wrong. This is the first PKGBUILD I have attempted to modify.
