perl-io-socket-ssl should be added as a dependency; otherwise, I get the following error and messages aren't send (using TLS with gtalk): You requested that XML::Stream turn the socket into an SSL socket, but you don't have the correct version of IO::Socket::SSL v0.81. at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/XML/Stream/Node.pm line 549

I have written a PKGBUILD: http://aur.pastebin.com/2kF3iKhc But when I try to use it I get several errors: Use of uninitialized value $args{"file"} in lc at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Net/XMPP/Debug.pm line 154. Use of uninitialized value within @_ in lc at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/XML/Stream/Parser.pm line 71. Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/bin/sendxmpp line 481. Error 'AuthSend': [?] Alsi, I feel that the line ln -s /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/bin/sendxmpp $startdir/pkg/usr/bin/ should not be needed. If you want to maintain the package, I'll orphan it since I don't use it.

http://web.zcu.cz/ftp/mirrors/debian/pool/main/s/sendxmpp/ seems to be a newer version
