I have no idea, it should work the same way, but keep in mind that yaourt is not being developed anymore. I just installed ser-player with pamac so the package should be fine.

You can find more information about AUR helpers in the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_helpers

If the problem persists with different helpers don't hesitate to contact me with some logs.

Strange that I can't build from AUR using yaourt, while cloning and building the package repository locally was successful... (https://aur.archlinux.org/ser-player.git/) Any idea why?

@vinvin Please disown it, I can pick it up and update the patch

I'm sorry, I can't now, I don't have an Arch Linux machine to test it anymore. I can disown if somebody wants the package.

@vinvin Could you please update the patch file to contain the missing include statement?

I had to edit file src/ser-player-1.7.2/src/frame_slider.cpp and add

include <QPainterPath>

to compile successfully.
