Needed this package in order to run ipmiview(aur).
Tried directly from oracle (server-jre-8u201-linux-x64.tar.gz) website but got an error when installing a package.
Just in case you are trying to install this with Yaourt..
Try: yaourt --m-arg "--skipinteg" -S server-jre
then
"Edit PKGBUILD ?" yes
Edits:
Change "_minor=144" to "_minor=201" Change "_build=b01" to "_build=b09"
Then go to:
source=("http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jce/$_major/jce_policy-$_major.zip" "http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/$pkgver-$_build/090f390dda5b47b9b721c7dfaa008135/$pkgname-$pkgver-linux-x64.tar.gz")
Let the first link as it, change the second link to:
http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/$pkgver-$_build/42970487e3af4f5aa5bca3f542482c60/$pkgname-$pkgver-linux-x64.tar.gz
At the end, it would be:
source=("http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jce/$_major/jce_policy-$_major.zip" "hhttp://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/$pkgver-$_build/42970487e3af4f5aa5bca3f542482c60/$pkgname-$pkgver-linux-x64.tar.gz")
You do not need to change the sha256sums ( we issued yaourt --m-arg "--skipinteg" ).
Save and continue installing..
If you are trying to run ipmiview package, you will need:
"archlinux-java status (check the current default value)"
then
"sudo archlinux-java set java-8-server-jre/jre"
issue "archlinux-java status" again
It should show:
java-8-server-jre/jre (default)

I won't maintain this package anymore.
