cursed dyslexia! I meant PGP keys of course!

Hi vasihath

Thanks for your comment. So few changes to the upstream package, shadow, means I hardly ever need to look at this package. Last update was Jun 11 2015 actually.

I have fixed the conflicts/provides, and tidied up the pkgbuild a bit.

As to the GPG key, note that makepkg, which needs to be ran as user, uses a different mechanism for GPG checking as does pacman.

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Makepkg#Signature_checking for more —albeit terse— information.

PS: hint: import key from keyserver matching the id, then sign the key with your own key to indicate trust. If you don't have a GPG key yourself and don't want to make one, then build the package with makepkg --skipgpgcheck

Cheers

makepkg is failing because 'provides' should be an array and the sig key is not accepted (since pgp is run as user). Further, the package fails to install as it doesn't have a conflicts=('shadow'). I successfully installed it by making these changes. Kindly update your PKGBUILD. Thanks a lot !

PS: I can mail you the diff just in case you want it.
