@lufog thank you for the note and I am happy to provide clarification. I originally started this fork after a conversation with the upstream authors of Shelly ALPM about GNOME issues, namely the old issue where it refused to properly respect dark mode from GNOME appearance settings due to lack of Libadwaita. The developers at the time expressed no interest whatsoever, blaming it as a GNOME issue. I simply created a fork implementing Libadwaita for my own use, as it was quite easy, and decided to share it.

They have since fixed the dark mode issue, but the other benefit is that for those of us who are Libadwaita purists, unlike vanilla Shelly it will respect our chosen accent colours.

Vanilla shelly with adw-gtk-theme looks exactly the same as this fork.
