That's weird. It definitely built correctly on my machine. Had to change the link redirect given Deviantart's new download system as well as the checksum.
Very possible that when I retrieved the link initially it tracked my IP as OK, which allowed the PKGBUILD to pull it properly.
Sorry you're having such trouble with this. Perhaps you could take over the whole project (since it's clearly been abandoned), update it to 3.8 or wait until 3.10 releases later this month and update for that? Host the project on a friendly site like github or gtk-look and take over the PKGBUILD?

If I can get permission from the theme creator to publicly host this file somewhere, I'll take up this package. At least until he updates it to GTK3.8 (if ever).

Er, it definitely doesn't build correctly... It looks like what you did was just change the checksum to that of the 300~ byte javascript/html redirect page...

Fixed the PKGBUILD and bumped the package release number. Builds correctly now. The last upstream release is from November of last year. I would consider this theme abandoned. Please contact the original creator if you want it updated for Gnome 3.8+.
As stated previously, I am now orphaning this package.

Oh, and we're still having the redirect problem with the zip file. It installs fine if I manually download it and put it in the build folder.

Is it just me, or does this theme (and the old shiki-colors) highlight ALL entries in dropdowns in GTK3 applications (e.g. http://s9.postimg.org/w83jckrof/gtk3.png )? As far as I'm concerned, from a clean arch install with x.org, I've installed this package, and set the theme with lxappearance. I don't get this problem with a couple other GTK3+GTK2 themes (adwaita or elegant_brit_revisited)...

Apologies. I'll try to look into this tomorrow. It's been low priority for me as I don't use this package anymore (nor Arch on desktop or laptop anymore). I will update this package, then orphan it. After that, please feel free to pick it up for maintenance.

MD5 still doesn't match because deviantart uses javascript redirect and wget downloads redirect page
Also gtk3/gnome-shell themes need to be updated

Updated with "conflicts=(gtk-theme-shiki-colors)"

May be it is useful to add this in PKGBUILD?
conflicts=(gtk-theme-shiki-colors)

Didn't realize anyone still used this theme (or ever used it, for that matter). Package updated.
