@bubba, I got home tonight and tested it on r433 and there does not appear to be any issues; I made some minor changes to fix the service so it will run as expected though, but unrelated to the issue you were seeing. Please try it again with the latest version.

I'm travelling at the moment, but it is a git package; upstream may be broken currently. If it's still an issue on Sunday when I return I'll fix it then.

Current build will not run! Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/sickbeard/SickBeard.py", line 52, in <module> import sickbeard ImportError: No module named sickbeard

I do something similar but I add the user sickbeard to the "downloads" group.

justin8 commented on 2014-04-29 14:34 (UTC)

Sorry, I should have done that ages ago, I just use a downloads user to give group access to files from all of those apps to users on the network; shouldn't be in this package; fixed. Same goes for the piratebay one.

Great packages! But could you make a more generic approach by creating a sickbeard user/group instead of downloads? This would also bring it into line with how things like couchpotato and transmission are installed.

I was going to post that. A work colleague told me about that today.

A lot of the missing columns errors went away by deleting the cache.db and letting sickbeard recreate it.

Yeah I received errors straight away when just switching and keeping the old settings/database, so I started from scratch when I tried it. Unfortunately one of the providers I use seem to be from an old version of mr_orange's edition (or wherever those are forked from).
