I think it would be a good idea if this package would have a provides and conflicts with signal-desktop-bin in the PKGBUILD.

It would be really convenient if this package was a drop-in replacement for signal-desktop-bin when testing out bug fixes. Currently, signal-desktop-beta-bin has more dependencies -- does it need them? Similarly, a /usr/bin alias such as https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=signal-desktop-bin#n25 could be convenient but whether that is something for a PKGBUILD to add is a separate question.
