I just tried the dev version; note that it works fine on my system without having to do the QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb workaround that you have. Here's my system info:

This works for me, finally. In this build, the following 3 config options do not work here:

use_ruler_to_highlight_synctex_line 1 highlight_synctex_line 1 synctex_highlight_color 0.9 0.7 0.3

I am also willing to, if you have a github account, adding you as a contributor to sioyek-dev if you'd like to help maintain it.

This is because I can't even generate SRCINFO anymore since makepkg doesn't work on nixos. to get around this I added a post-push hook to regenerate it on github.com:barrettruth/sioyek-dev. Let me know if it (doesn't) work!

I think you still have to update the AUR repo, so pushing to ssh://aur@aur.archlinux.org/sioyek-dev.git Otherwise thanks a lot!

@jhossbach the fix I believe has been pushed.

However, I have moved to NixOS. This does NOT mean that I will not respond to comments and iterate on feedback.

It does mean that the fix may not be correct (I'm pretty sure it works, though).

Thanks for the package! https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=sioyek-dev#n54 Could you omit the renaming here or change the Icon name in the .application file? That way the icon will be found.
