Some changes:

  • Version numbers shouldn't start with v.
  • What's the point of all the || exit 1. makepkg normally quits on error.
  • Installing a separate license file is unnecessary because this is GPL2.

Aye. I've pushed a fix without the -static flag. Otherwise glib2-static would probably be a required dependency.

Package has a problem building with LDFLAGS=-static as of v0.3.0.beta.1.
