sagir33... uninstalling opencv3 is not an option for me, as I have other software that depends on it. Also, please understand, I maintain the *package*, the actual *software* is maintained by someone else. I did open a discussion, and the maintainer of the software is looking at porting it to opencv 3. In the meantime, opencv2 from aur was broken for a while because of the gcc update. I'm poking around at it now, where I will be using a concurrent version of opencv. TL;DR, soonish. :)

@satriani Uninstall opencv, and then install opencv2 from aur. That fixes the error. The opencv installed by default is version 3.1, which differs a lot in codebase from version 2.xx. That being said, maintainer, when can we expect a working version of this program that is fixed for version 3.xx of opencv? I'm getting segmentation faults even though the program installs successfully, with opencv2. It does not run properly. Force closes in the GUI, and gives segfaults when I run via commandline.

No, it's not intended. They should end up with others in /usr/bin I have previous working version. It has these files:
slowmovideo-git /usr/ slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/ slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/Test slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoFlowBuilder slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoFlowEdit slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoInfo slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoInterpolate slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoRenderer slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoUI slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoVideoInfo slowmovideo-git /usr/bin/slowmoVisualizeFlow
Became maintainter to upload Theo's PKGBUILD. Package should work fine now. For some reason slomoUI and slomoFlowEdit end up in /usr instead of /usr/bin Anybody know if this is intended behavior?

had this error: /usr/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/slowmoFlowBuilder.dir/flowBuilder.cpp.o: undefined reference to symbol 'XCreateColormap' added export LDFLAGS="-lX11 ${LDFLAGS}" to pkgbuild http://pastebin.com/Wr8rLcNn

Thanks, sjewo, that PKGBUILD works perfectly. Looks like that is all that is needed to build it on KF5.

I had some problems to compile and install the current git version due to cmake errors. A working PKGBUILD is here: http://pastebin.com/PZTijriV
