Just a friendly TODO:
I'm dealing with several deaths in the family right after the holidays.
I'm trying to keep up with everything. I'll get to this as soon as I can.
It's clearly a git package now, yet git is not in makedepends but subversion is. Please fix. Please see about moving it to the proper name as well (smplayer-git).
@EndlessEden I'm sorry, I missed your previous message. I disowned the package, so you can take over.
I disowned smplayer-skins-svn and smplayer-themes-svn too, if you're interested.
@Svenstaro - i am aware, just giving the maintainer warning before attempting to do so. Ive made the mistake before of expecting a package is abandoned and applying...
You can file a request against the package to have it orphaned if the author doesn't take action.
If your not going to update this, could you please abandon it or at the very least add me as a co-contributor and ill push updates.
I use this daily.
development has moved to git; https://github.com/smplayer-dev/smplayer.git
[also, $(git rev-parse --short HEAD) to replace $(svnversion)]
Tested locally, builds and gives correct version info.
@314eter I'm sorry for my comment, it indeed uses svn. :)
I'm not using it anymore myself. But as long as it builds, it will always install the latest version, so it doesn't really need to be updated.
But if you want to keep up-to-date, I can disown the package so that you can adopt it.
