At last several months I get segfault when trying to send sms: Mar 17 19:46:31 localhost kernel: [11856.867926] smsd[3563]: segfault at 640794 ip 00007fe6878ffbcf sp 00007fff6c249a50 error 4 in libc-2.15.so[7fe6878b8000+197000] But I have previous build with an old gcc which works fine: smstools3]$ ls -la smstools3-3.1.14-7-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz -rw-r--r-- 1 warm users 88112 march 16 2011 smstools3-3.1.14-7-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz Segfault is when I use sendsms, main process of smsd is died with segfault. How canit be fixed ? I did not find any patch in google.

Hardcoded GID and UID are now removed.

Before install you may create smsd group manually and assign any unused GID to it.
