https://pastebin.com/7Xp4nNnb I followed your step by step instructions you gave me for the 1st version which build with no issues. I'm familiar with using makepkg and I'm doing what you've said. Like I've said, it worked for the first version of this package.

@funkmuscle Are you using "makepkg -Cis"? Can you please provide the full output including the command you used? Your pastebin was truncated at the start. Does it make any difference if you create a new folder, copy the PKGBUILD to it and run "makepkg -Cis" from there?

funkmuscle commented on 2018-08-16 03:37

I did do all that. Worked for the first version.

funkmuscle commented on 2018-08-15 02:57

I did... or so I thought.. will try tomorrow and give you feedback!

@funkmuscle The output shows that you didn't remove src directory from previous build as I indicated previously. Please add -C argument to makepkg (capital C) so it doesn't try to apply patch to source files that were already patched.

@funkmuscle I didn't make any changes to arch/parisc/lib/fixup.S at all for r3. Can you provide the full PKGBUILD and output?

funkmuscle commented on 2018-08-14 02:49

yep.. built the first time after your help.. now trying to get r3 and that where I'm getting the error

net147 commented on 2018-08-14 02:31

@funkmuscle Works for me. Did you remove the pkg and src directories before building?

funkmuscle commented on 2018-08-14 00:56

getting this now: can't find file to patch at input line 217560 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this was:
