shell scripts in /usr/share/soapui/wsi-test-tools/ are not executable, so the WSI Analysis Tools fail to run.

ArthurBorsboom commented on 2015-07-29 06:42

Yep... the update has been pushed and all works out-of-the-AUR-box.
Thanks.

dguihal commented on 2015-07-28 20:03

Thanks all

hopefully should be better now

SanskritFritz commented on 2015-07-28 13:56

ArthurBorsboom Thank you!

ArthurBorsboom commented on 2015-07-28 12:54

For me to get the package working, I did the following.

Install soapui.
Edit /usr/bin/soapui

Change line:
SOAPUI_CLASSPATH=$SOAPUI_BASE/bin/soapui-5.1.2.jar:$SOAPUI_BASE/lib/*

into:
SOAPUI_CLASSPATH=$SOAPUI_BASE/bin/soapui-5.2.0.jar:$SOAPUI_BASE/lib/*

SpotlightKid commented on 2015-07-23 14:55

Your commit doesn't seem to include a .SRCINFO, which is probably why the AUR web page wasn't updated. Dunno how you managed to do that. I would up the pkgrel, run mksrcinfo and push again.

The AUR clients (e.g. yaourt etc.) pick up the new PKGBUILD for 5.2.0, BTW.

dguihal commented on 2015-07-16 20:07

something wrong I don't understand ...

Bumped version to 5.2, corrected the comma, pushed everything, but aur did'nt get updated

Anyone ?

ArthurBorsboom commented on 2015-07-15 08:26

==> Install or build missing dependencies for soapui:
error: target not found: java-environment,

Cause: see comment by Denommus

Would you mind to fix?

Denommus commented on 2015-07-06 20:51

There's a comma after java-environment on the PKGBUILD that shouldn't be there.

dguihal commented on 2015-06-10 21:42

Thanks Raimar, I corrected the PKGBUILD

Raimar commented on 2015-06-10 21:07

My interpretation of namcap is:
- use java-environment instead of java-runtime as dependency
- add hicolor-icon-theme as dependency
The license should be changed to EUPL version 1.1. according to http://www.soapui.org/about-soapui/soapui-license.html

Muflone commented on 2015-04-10 23:19

not anyone use the AUR website

SanskritFritz commented on 2015-04-10 20:13

Muflone that is not necessary, anyone can contact him, just click on his name here.

Muflone commented on 2015-04-10 20:05

@dguihal
Please add a # Maintainer: dguihal <youremail> tag.
That's useful for anyone wants to get in contact with you or to notify you something.

dguihal commented on 2015-04-09 19:46

namcap juste shows a warning here (about maintainer tag).
java-runtime dependency is present, and there is no bash dependency, only sh

Raimar commented on 2015-04-09 19:04

In most cases everything works, but namcap shows some errors, which should be solved, e.g. dependency to bash and java-runtime detected, but not included.

dguihal commented on 2015-04-01 20:54

Thanks for the tip
Corrected

AbrarSyed commented on 2015-04-01 20:48

Seems your soapui script in /usr/bin is wrong. Its looking for the 5.0.0 jar instead of the 5.1.2 resulting in a MainCLasssNotFound error when attempting to launch.

rdoursenaud commented on 2014-07-18 14:47

Sorry, didn't see it was only the Pro version. Please ignore my previous comment…

rdoursenaud commented on 2014-07-18 14:31

Version 5.1.0 is available.

dguihal commented on 2014-06-18 21:40

Done in 5.0.0-2

Muflone commented on 2014-06-18 14:57

Please add -Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on to JAVA_OPTS variable in soapui script in order to fix the defect with invisible fonts starting with Java 7.u60

dguihal commented on 2014-01-25 15:26

Changed the startup script, so SOAPUI_HOME points to HOME now

Hopefully will fix this unwanted behavior

Hoek commented on 2014-01-17 16:15

dguihal, if you could manage to fix the script for the new version, that'd be awesome. There are many things that do not work correctly due to the working path not being set correctly (closing the program, saving preferences, etc)

If you have a gittip account or something similar, please tell so I can donate a beer or two.

dguihal commented on 2013-12-19 22:39

I see, that's due to soapui startup shell script which is using SOAPUI_HOME as a base for both classpath and base config.

I'll just do a version jump this time, I'll dig into it later as this supposes a more comples startup script

bastiendurel commented on 2013-12-11 15:18

soapui is loading configuration file from /usr/share/soapui/soapui-settings.xml instead of $HOME/soapui-settings.xml

rdoursenaud commented on 2013-12-03 16:57

v4.6.2 has been released, please update.

mstarzyk commented on 2013-11-13 19:23

Build fails in 4.6.1, because directory name is now upper and lower case.
Before: soapui-4.6.0
Now: SoapUI-4.6.1

dguihal commented on 2013-05-22 22:27

Thank you for help (@Musikolo) and notification (@justforgetme)

I updated to 4.5.2 and done a overhaul of the packaging process. It should build and run fine now.

justforgetme commented on 2013-05-22 13:32

This doesn't install anymore.
the hash sums are different and the application doesn't seem to have the same structure as the original.

Musikolo commented on 2012-06-22 22:36

@dguihal:

Please add the following to changes:

- Create the soapui.desktop file:
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=soapui %u
Icon=soapui
Terminal=false
Name=sopaUI
GenericName=Grafical interface for testing Web Services
GenericName[es]=Interfaz gráfico para probar Servicios Web
Categories=Development;IDE;

- Get the icon to be used by the previous file:
wget http://freeapps.co.uk.s3.amazonaws.com/images%2Fthumbnails%2Fsoapui.png -O $pkgname.png

- Install the above two files (PKGBUILD):
install $pkgname.desktop -D ${pkgdir}/usr/share/applications/$pkgname.desktop
install $pkgname.png -D ${pkgdir}/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/$pkgname.png

I hope you find the above useful.

Best regards.

mrzeznicki commented on 2012-06-22 07:49

It seems that somewhere in soapui-settings.xml there is entangled a strange path which causes the following error:
09:45:51,114 ERROR [WorkspaceImpl] Failed to save workspace: /home/rzeznik/../../TestPBE-workspace.xml (Permission denied)
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/rzeznik/../../TestPBE-workspace.xml (Permission denied)

CheariX commented on 2012-05-16 10:33

The PKGBUILD did not work for me.

Error line 24:
/tmp/yaourt-tmp-username/aur-soapui/PKGBUILD: Line 24: cd: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-username/aur-soapui/src/soapui-4.5.0: File or directory not found.

I did the following steps manually to solve this:

1) mkdir src/
2) unzip -d src/ soapui-4.5.0-linux-bin.zip
3) makepkg

BorgHunter commented on 2012-03-30 16:51

4.5.0 is out. I tried a manual update of the pkgbuild (just putting in the new version and checksums) and reinstalling with yaourt, but it looks like the permissions were minorly munged with the update. It was necessary for me to manually add the execute flag to the launcher shell script:

chmod +x /usr/share/soapui/bin/soapui.sh

Once I did that, the new version worked swimmingly.

dguihal commented on 2011-10-02 13:25

updated ti 4.0.1

@Witko : modification done

vdemin commented on 2011-09-17 19:48

Have no problem with 4.0.1

Witko commented on 2011-08-15 09:11

Please update the ${SOAPUI_HOME}/bin/soapui.sh - the last line:

java $JAVA_OPTS -cp $SOAPUI_CLASSPATH com.eviware.soapui.SoapUI "$@"

to

${JAVA_HOME}/bin/java $JAVA_OPTS -cp $SOAPUI_CLASSPATH com.eviware.soapui.SoapUI "$@"

This way i can run it on different java without need to do any hacks.
Thanks a lot!

dguihal commented on 2011-08-06 09:36

Here the 4.0 version

andrgrau commented on 2011-06-24 14:38

As already mentioned, v4 is out - however, v4 is not running on my machine, so v3 is OK for me ;-)
