It is working okay if i use demo but crashes while i set my license code. I see also coredump in journal

Should i go report upstream?

SoftMaker Office 2024 seems to now be crashing on load. I open PlanMaker 2024, and it crashes. On existing installs it offers to upload a report to SoftMaker, on new installs it doesn't even do that.

The desktop file for textmaker-2024 has a space on line 76 that caused my fuzzel to crash: https://codeberg.org/dnkl/fuzzel/issues/328

Would you mind removing the space? I am guessing it not put there on purpose.

Note that service pack 1211 has been made available, but this only includes a fix for an issue affecting Debian 11 (and as far as I know does not affect Arch): https://www.softmaker.com/en/download/servicepacks/servicepacks-softmaker-office-2024-changelog

I won't be updating this package for this version since it is functionally the same as service pack 1210 on Arch, but if you want to be on 'the latest and greatest', then apply this patch to the PKGBUILD (e.g. using git apply):

Hi,

SoftMaker now offers two different downloads: the 'softmaker-office-nx' and the 'softmaker-office-2024'.

First one is the subscription version, second the purchase version. You need the right product key for each version. These are different.

Thus i suggest to change this version here to the purchase version 'softmaker-office-2024. Today the package release is 1200 -> https://www.softmaker.net/down/softmaker-office-2024-1200-amd64.tgz

Maybe we need a further AUR-package for 'softmaker-office-nx'as well

Softmaker 2024 is now officially available: in two versions, the NX (subscription) version and the professional version (no subscription). Many thanks for providing this repo - very much appreciated!
