0.9.2 is up, among a few minor changes some compiler&linker flags are removed. This should provide the most default build environment.

@diheri6523 that's pretty funny considering the evolution of this package from binary form to open source. Anyways i just tested 0.9.1 and it was working. So can we conclude the problem is on your side? Can you tell me what problem(s) you encounter?

diheri6523 commented on 2020-08-29 05:05

I can't compile both 0.9.0-1 & 0.9.1-1

can you make a binary

Thanks for pointing that out! And done.

Simplified package() function:

package() {
    cd "SoulAnchor-$pkgname-$pkgver"
    cp -a --no-preserve=ownership install/usr/ "$pkgdir/"
    install -Dm644 MOD README.md -t "$pkgdir/usr/share/doc/$pkgname"
}

As mentioned before, there's no need to install another copy of the GPL3 license. Also, licenses shuold be installed to /usr/share/licenses/.

Alright SoulAnchor is open source now!

Updated to 0.8.5 - minor improvements and fixes, added NET Bible

Hope to do an open source release sometime soon or whenever i figure enough stuff out to make it happen.

@caltlgin, i understand. I have my reasons for not having it open source right now. This is addressed in the readme file. Also in a recent forum post discussion. BTW I think you can still be secure by using a sandbox environment like virtualbox and/or firejail.

This is a basic bible reader with a few options such as: search, parallel view, dictionaries and strongs numbers from the AKJV. Also it allows modding the SQLITE databases if you want to add a translation for example. I'm still working on it but it should already be good enough to use since i use it everyday without problems.
