@defaultxr That's a bug in paru, and would need to be reported to them. That would happen if the git describe fails. Not sure why it would.

For some reason, this package (and spectral-compressor-vst3-git) always show up as updates when I run paru -Syu:

:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 multilib is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 there is nothing to do
:: Looking for PKGBUILD upgrades...

2 aur/spectral-compressor-clap-git  spectral.compressor.0.4.3.r142.gffe9b61f-1 -> 0.0.1.r1427.f557707-1
1 aur/spectral-compressor-vst3-git  spectral.compressor.0.4.3.r142.gffe9b61f-1 -> 0.0.1.r1427.f557707-1

It seems that the PKGBUILD generates 0.0.1.r1427.f557707-1 as the version string, but then spectral.compressor.0.4.3.r142.gffe9b61f-1 is the version that actually gets installed. Is there some way to avoid that?
