The checksum should never suddenly change for an already existing version but it seems it did indeed change. I'll do some checks (virus and other) to see if this is clean. And if it is, I'll update the PKGBUILD.
EDIT: Virus Total check clean and the resulting package is the same as with the previous checksum. Was probably only repackaged by upstream. Updating the PKGBUILD in a bit.

sha256sum doesn't match. I fixed PGBUILD to changed sum

@NeodarZ: Have you even tried building this package? There has been no change to the website, it has always been that way and has always stated that.
The PKGBUILD is explicitly written to cover this and works perfectly fine.

The package didn't work anymore because of a change of their website.
The direct link to the zip didn't work if I use the PKGBUILD or wget. You need to go here : https://spflashtools.com/linux/sp-flash-tool-v5-1844-for-linux and click on the button direct download else if you just copy/past the link of the button you are redirect to https://spflashtools.com/.
EDIT: As noted at the bottom of the page of the version of spflashtool:
[*] Hot-linking Not Allowed: If you are willing to share the above tool with your friends, or on any website, forums then use the page url. Dont use the direct file link, as it will be re-directed to the homepage of this website.

This also has an additional dependency to package qt4 for /usr/lib/qt4/bin/assistant
Then you need link the assistant as follows: ln -s /usr/lib/qt4/bin/assistant /opt/spflashtool/bin/assistant
This will ensures Help > Contents/Index will work.
